This quote is one of my favorites. If you have never eaten while crying, or if it is your first time doing so, then you don’t really know what life tastes like (the same goes for experiencing life while happy). This quote points out that while some people may not appreciate the taste of life until they are given the bitter experience of sadness, many people would never know what it tasted like until they actually experienced it.
